Alan Gully, 58, of Huntsville passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 in Huntsville, MO. Alan was born to the late David Dean and Loreda Doris (Summers) Gully on March 29, 1955 in Madison, MO. He married Rosemarie Plotner on March 20, 1980. Alan worked for local Rock Quarries for 26 years and was presently employed by Norris Aggregate in Huntsville. He enjoyed fishing and time spent working in the woods. Alan was also preceded in death by brothers: Larry Dean Gully, and William Lee Gully; sisters: Doris Ann Hulett, and Nancy Leora Lutz and infant twin brother and sister. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Rosemarie Gully of Huntsville; sons: David Duane Gully and Rachel of Clifton Hill, and Trevor Martin of Huntsville; brother, Roger Gully and wife Chris of Huntsville; grandchildren: Valerie Autumn Rose and La Rae Jolene; father-in-law, Duane Plotner and wife Penny of Huntsville and mother-in-law, Thelma Stoneburner and husband Okey of Huntsville; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 4:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m at the funeral home with Pastor Chester Heyer officiating. Burial will follow at Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Million Taylor Funeral Homes. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks memorial donations be made to the family.
