Alvin Trusty

Alvin Trusty 97 of Moberly died November 26, 2010 in North Village Nursing Home. He was born February 19, 1913 at Fort Dodge, IA, the son of Charles and Amelia Will Trusty. On March 10, 1940 he married Dorothy Halverson who preceded him in death on Mach 22, 2001. surviving are many generations of loving family, including five sons and three daughters; Steven and Suz Trusty of Council Bluffs, IA, David and Carol Trusty of Oakville, WA, Joyce and Mike Krebs of Manson, IA, Mark Trusty of Paris, Mo, Tim and April Trusty of Clifton Hill, MO, Susan and Michael Borcherding of Oak Lawn, IL, Roger Trusty of Manson, IA and Jean and Dan Walje of Moberly; sister-in-law Georgeanne and Leonard Woodruff of Rockwell City, IA; brother-in-law Robert Carroll of Stuart, FL; 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and counsin. Funeral services will be at Zion Lutheran Church, Moberly, MO at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 30, 2010 with the Rev. Kenneth Schurb officiating. Arrangements were made by Million-Taylor Funeral Home of Moberly. Arrangements are pending for a memorial service for Memorial DAy weekend, 2011 in Fort Dodge, IA.
