Anna Lucille McGee passed away on the 12th of December 2012. Lucille was 102 years old. She was born on April 24, 1910 to J.B and Gertrude (Phillips) Blansett Sr. in Howard County, Missouri. Lucille was a graduate of Higbee High School, class of 1928. She married Paul McGee and was married for 55 years before he passed away. Lucille was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moberly. Before she retired, Lucille was a seamstress for Nola Leach. After retirement she enjoyed cooking, gardening and traveling with her husband. Lucille was also preceded in death by her brothers: J.B Blansett Jr., Morris Blansett, Virgil Blansett, and Herman Blansett; sisters: Marie Ware and Genelle Collett. She is survived by her son, Paul A. McGee Jr. and Tami VanMeter of Chesterfield, MO; Nieces: Trudie Homan of Kansas City, MO, Velma Woods of Grants Pass, OR, Linda Grosso of Sheridan WY, Pat Thomsovick of Sheridan WY, and Leta Kobielusz of WY; and a host of cousins, and great nieces and nephews. A visitation for Lucille will be held on Saturday, the 15th of December 2012 from 1:00 p.m until 2:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Home of Moberly. Funeral Services will take place at 2:00 p.m at the funeral home. Rev. Bob Welsh will officiate. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Moberly.
