Annie Marie Douglas, 73, of Moberly, passed away at her home July 23, 2016. Annie was born August 6, 1942 in Jacksonville, MO to Albert Ray and Mollie Mae White Oliver.
She was a graduate of Cairo High School. On June 2, 1962 she married Lawrence Nelson Douglas in Cairo. Annie worked as a quality control inspector for AT&T prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Moberly. She enjoyed making afghans and had made over 35 hats and 20 throws for cancer patients at Ellis Fischel. She had a group of girlfriends whom she dearly loved, called the Golden Girls. They enjoyed playing Skip Bo and Canasta and making banana splits.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence; son Daniel Lawrence Douglas; siblings Betty Dilse, Bill Oliver, Mary Prewitt, Gladys Clark and Lula Clark. She is survived by her sister Ruby Ballew of Columbia, MO, extended family and friends.
Services for Annie will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home followed by interment in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 2197 Six Mile Lane, Moberly, MO 65270.
