April Louise Smyth, age 55, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away quietly at her home on February 16, 2023.
April was born on April 10, 1967, in West Chester, PA to Charles (Sonny) Smyth and Roberta (Berty) Smyth. She graduated from Lemon Bay High School, FL in 1985. In 2001 she relocated to Missouri.
She loved animals, had a talent for painting and was a good cook. She also enjoyed going to garage sales, thrift shops and her happy place was on the beach. Her love for her children and family was above anything in her life. April was very spontaneous and witty; everyone loved her when they met her. She was the “Life of the Party” and her favorite saying was “Not here for long, just for a good time!” April was beautiful inside and out, many ate at her table because of her generosity to others.
She is preceded in death by a brother, Charles (Chuckie) Smyth III; grandparents; aunts; uncles and a special cousin, Debbie Launi.
April is survived by her father, Charles Smyth; mother, Roberta Smyth; sister, Dawn Shongood; Brother-in-law, Barri Shongood; sons, Tyler Retino, Donald J. Williams; daughter, Chelsea Parker; grandson, Isaac Retino niece, Brittany Shongood and nephew, John Kieck III.
A Celebration of Life celebrating April Smyth will be held in May 2023 at her parents home in Englewood, FL.
