Arno E. Denney

Arno E. Denney, 89, of Centralia, Missouri, passed away on September 21, 2021, at Moberly Regional Medical Center. Arno was born July 3, 1932, in Lingo Township, Missouri, to Roldolph L. and Elizabeth I. (Chrisman) Denney. He married Dorothy Mae Smith in 1956 and shared 64 years together before she passed away. He was a hard worker, no matter what job he was performing. He was a farmer above all but worked in the mines, was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He loved to garden and to lend a helping hand to his neighbors. Arno was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Denney; son, Donald Denney, and sister, Wilma Calicott. Survivors include his children: Donna Bleeckert of St. Louis, Missouri, Mike (Tara) Denney of Huntsville, Missouri, Tim (Bunny) Denney of Centralia, Missouri, Pat (Noah) Smothers of Lebanon, Missouri, Karin Denney of Centralia, Missouri, and Robin (Darren) Hammond of Bonaire, Georgia; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. A visitation will take place on Friday, September 24, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly, Missouri. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Moberly, Missouri.
