Atom Christopher Nelson

With deepest sorrow ,we announce that Atom Christopher Nelson, age 46 our most beloved son. brother, uncle and friend passed suddenly on Thursday, April 29; 2021 at home. Atom will be missed everyday by his Father Larry Nelson, Mother Sheryl his brother, Dion Nelson spouse Starr, brother Chad Nelson, Chase and Cale Nelson. His Loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and great friends. An avid sports fan and lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinal baseball, Chicago Bears and LA Lakers. He enjoyed bowling. Uncle Atom loved tormenting his nephews Chase and Cale, rooting against their teams on Sunday night football with his family on tv also buying them special treats. He loved them so much! Atom lived in Virginia for about 8 years while working for Dominoes. Where his Reffett Aunt, Uncle and Cousins lived. He worked for the family business Nellys from an early age and helped to make it a success, If you knew him you know his tough exterior, dry sense of humor and loving heart. HE WILL BE MISSED! A memorial gathering will take place on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. with Doug Finnell, family friend officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to: American Heart Association, North Park Baptist Church, or Family Life Fellowship.
