Belva Virginia Harris, 92 of Clark, Missouri passed away Monday April 30, 2012 at the Bluffs in Columbia, Missouri where she had been a resident about a year. She was born May 12, 1919 in Southern Randolph County the daughter of William D. and Ruby T. (Blaise) Harris. She was educated in one room schools with her mother often being the teacher. She graduated from Clark High School in May 1938. On July 30, 1938 she married Russel C. Harris. She was a member of the Clark Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for 50 years, was a board member for several years and helped with other religious activities. She was also a member of the Clark Chapter No. 396 and Moberly Chapter No. 150 of O.E.S. For 38 years she worked in the local elections. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Survivors include one son, Wayne and wife Ann Harris of Clark, Mo., two grandsons, Kurtis W. Harris of Clark, Mo. and Kenneth R. Harris and wife Erin of Sturgeon, Mo. and two great granddaughters, Taylor and Morgan of Sturgeon, Mo. and several cousins, friends and neighbors. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday May 3, 2012 at the Million-Taylor Funeral Home in Moberly and Visitation will be from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday May 2, 2012 at the Funeral Home and Burial will be in Chapel Grove Cemetery at Clark, Mo.
