Betty Berniece Hendren, 80, of Moberly, passed from this life into the arms of her loving Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at her home. Betty was born on November 4, 1932 in rural Jacksonville to Joseph Earman and Maude Lois (Herron) Halliburton. She was the devoted wife of Raymond E. Hendren Jr. whom she married on November 11, 1950, at Harrison, Arkansas, and remained so until the day of his passing on May 12, 1996. Betty was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who always enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by one son and four daughters; Rev. Jimmy R. Hendren and wife Patty of rural Huntsville, Mary Ann Cornick and friend Nelson Davis of Madison, Karen Dennison of rural Jacksonville, Marilyn Walter and husband Jim of Duncans Bridge, and Jody Barnes of Duncans Bridge. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Amy Mckinzie, Emily Reynolds, Cpl. Nathaniel R. Hendren, Anastasya Hendren, Casey and Chad Walter, Joe Trusty, Jennifer Roscher, Shelbi Danner, and sixteen greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two infant children Barbara and David, two sons-in-law Richard Cornick and William Dennison, and two brothers, Kenneth and Larry Halliburton. Betty will be remembered for her warm heart and loving gentle spirit. She attended Family Life Fellowship church in Moberly and was known as a wonderful Christian lady. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 4:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Home of Moberly. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m in the chapel of Million Taylor Funeral Home.
