Betty Lou (Heaston) Noah, 81, of Moberly passed away on March 27, 2015 at North Village Park in Moberly. Betty was born to John and Maggie (Garrett) Ames on November 17, 1933 in Rock Island, IL. Betty married Doug Heaston who preceded her in death and later married Bill Noah. She was a homemaker and took care of her family. She was also preceded in death by her sons: Douglas and his wife, Kathy, Donald Gene and Ralph K. Heaston; sister, Mardell Starks and son-in-law, Charles Richard Nickerson. Betty is survived by her sons: Darrin Heaston (Diane) of Moberly, Steve Heaston of Moberly, and Carl Heaston of Vandalia; daughters: Margaret Welch (Leonard) of West Plains, MO, Kellie McConnell (Lester) Salisbury, Jolietta Heaston of Columbia, MO, Betty Pennington (Leslie) of Moberly, Opal Nickerson of Moberly, Dorothy Colbert (Steve) of Vandalia, and Mardell Rippel (Tony) of Moberly; brothers: Terry, Johnny, Lawrence, and Clarence Ames all of Moberly, and Billy Ames of IL; sisters: Bonita Campbell (Gene) of Moberly, Barbara Carden of Moberly, Francis Phelps of Hannibal, and Mary Katherine Phelps of Hannibal; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Moberly.
