Billie Rose Hicken completed her remarkable 99-year journey at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, and is now rejoicing in her eternal home where she has reunited with her loved ones.
Born in Glasgow, Missouri, on February 26, 1926, to William H. and Lucy Kaneer Rose, Billie was the oldest of seven children.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Robert Samuel Phillips, Orlin Joseph Hicken, and Ronald J. Noack; her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Donald Mikel; siblings, Juanita Sparks and Johnny Rose; foster brother, Glen Meyers; and her son-in-law and running buddy, John Pastusek.
Billie is survived by her son, Robert (Teri) Phillips, daughter, Pat (Bill) Hoffman; grandchildren, Joe Mikel, Keli (Matt) Hunt, Jonathan (Kristen) Pastusek, Bobby (Veronica) Phillips, Dustin (Megan) Hoffman, Craig (Cameron) Hoffman; and great-grandchildren, Garrett Hunt, Brayden, Aiden, Rylin, Micah, Caleb, Billie Rose, Reagan, Hailey, Jaxton, Abigail and Madison. She is further survived by step-children, Rhonda Saenz, Bill Noack, Jolene (Rodney) Raines, Ronnie Noack, Michelle (Ryan) Busby; their children, Lance (Breane) Richardson, Kyle Saenz, Brady Saenz, Kimberly Noack, Billy Noack, Shannon Raines, Ivy Noack, R.J. Noack, Willow Noack, Jonus Noack, Jordan Everett and Cooper Busby; sisters Doris Fawl, Bonnie Good, Judy Perino; and brother, Jackie Rose.
Billie was a very active member of the First Baptist Church in both Wichita Falls, Texas, where she resided for many years, and in Higbee. She volunteered many hours with the American Red Cross, traveling all over the United States to disaster locations. She also volunteered at Wichita General Hospital and Bethania Regional Hospital and the 50 Plus Senior Zone in Wichita Falls. In her younger years, she was very active in the Democratic party in the State of Missouri. Billie’s life can be encapsulated in four words. Faith, Family, Friends, and Travel. She loved to GO!!! Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and in the lives of those she touched. She leaves behind a world that is a little less bright without her.

A funeral service to honor Billie will be Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Pathway Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12 noon through 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Higbee Cemetery in Higbee, Missouri
