August 26, 1984 — November 16, 2019

Brandon Eugene VanBibber, 35, of Moberly, Missouri, went home to be with the Lord on November 16, 2019, at the University Hospital, Columbia, Missouri. Brandon was born on August 26, 1984, in Moberly, Missouri, to James Robert Shepherd Sr. and Metha (VanBibber) Shepherd. He worked for Jean and Tim Hess Septic Tank Service for most of his adult life and Richardson Lumber for nearly 2 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working by his father's side on the tank trunk, dancing, playing pool and bowling. His family will remember him as a loving father, son, brother, uncle and great friend. Brandon didn't know a stranger, he spoke to anyone and everyone. It was known that he would give his last dollar to someone so they would not go without. He always saved his loose change to give to his niece Belle. Brandon liked going for rides with his cousin, Trevor Hess who was more like a brother. They would blare the music and just ride. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Jeb VanBibber; grandfather, Thomas Hess; grandmother, Phyllis Hess; aunt and uncle Robert and Peggy Irons. Brandon is survived by his fiancé, Sarah Lawson of Moberly, Missouri; his parents: James and Metha Shepherd of Moberly, Missouri; sons: Kayleb Pierce, Mason, Landon and Brentley Lawson all of Moberly, Missouri; sisters: Jamie (Bruce) Pierce of Moberly, Missouri, and Amber Moran of Murphy, North Carolina; brother, Gage Shepherd of Moberly, Missouri; 3 older brothers; nieces: Annabella Pierce of Moberly, Missouri, Abagail Pierce of Moberly, Missouri, Annalice and Racheal Patterson of Murphy, North Carolina, Kelsie and Kaylee Moran of Murphy, North Carolina and Rhonda (Justin) Thomas of Moberly, Missouri; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; as well as cousins and friends.
