Bryan Lorient James, 56, known as BJ to his friends, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at his home in Moberly, MO following a brief illness.
Bryan was born in Washington D.C. on June 29, 1961, to Anton and Betty James, who preceded him in death. The family traveled extensively and eventually settled in Anton’s boyhood home of Calhoun County Illinois on Sunny Side Farm in what was then known as French Hollow.
Bryan attended Hardin Grade School and then Calhoun High School.
Bryan moved to Moberly, Missouri with his family in 1986, and as he did everywhere he went, gathered many friends.
Survivors include one brother, Eliot (Diana) James of Thomas Hill Lake; 3 sisters, Darya (Greg) Kohls of Moberly, Sally (Gene) Horbelt of Elsah, IL, and Alice (Japheth Howard) James of Cochrane, Alberta, CA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Memorial Services will be held at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly, MO at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. and continue until the time of service.
