Cari Leigh Brewer, beloved daughter of Dr. Jess and Berna LaMonda, of 1730 Parkwood Dr, died suddenly on August 3rd. She leaves behind two brothers; Randolph LaMonda and his wife Joy, who resided in Kissimmee Florida, and Chad LaMonda and his wife Fawn. Chad is a long time employee with Moberly Ambulance District. Cari was 54 years old this past July 2nd. She is survived by her three adult children, Sierra Noel Graham, Zacari Schopp and Lincoln Schopp. She has four grandchildren; Lilly and Jesse Kaiser in Pinellas Park, Florida, Alexander Morris, and Khaleesi Mae Graham of Missouri. Cari also left behind her friend and longtime companion of 25 years, James Brammer. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and longtime close friends. She also had loved ones in California and Oregon; Gary Quinton, Donna Rutherford and Darin Quinton, the grandparents and father, respectively, of her eldest child, Sierra Noel Graham. Cari was a rescuer of abandoned cats, dogs, raccoons, and possums. She re-homed may cats and dogs in past years, even trapping and relocating many not so tame animals. She leaves behind many cats and her beloved dog "Mater" in their varying stages of life. She was an avid fisherman; looking forward to her father's return home from a long time incarceration to show him her outdoor skills. As of recent times, she has been a homemaker and willing babysitting grandma. This was due to her declining physical health over the last two years. Special thanks to Kylee LaMonda for your help with Cari on her day of passing. Sierra was having a hard time with her mother's service arrangements and preparation. Kylee was there to help in a very hard and devastating time. Also, a special thanks to Kylee for her help with watching Sierra's new baby in this fragile time. Thank you to Sierra's husband Chris Graham who took time off work to care for their baby and support Sierra through these hard times. Thank You to Cari's two Sons Lincoln and Zac for their help in helping their sister pack all of Cari's things. They were the rock for both their sister and grandmother, Berna in such a sad and confusing time. Special thanks to Chad for his relentless dedication to making sure flowers arrived and family was fed after our goodbyes to Cari. Thank you, Dr. Gary LaMonda, for your support and attendance. Thanks to our friends coming to say goodbye; It meant a lot to have you there, especially because of the short notice of her visitation and services. Cari, you are so loved and missed. You will never be forgotten. Your memory will forever live on through the children and grandchildren you loved so dearly. Rest in Peace our Broken Butterfly. A private family service was held on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly.
