Carl Adrian Eisenhauer Sr., 102 of Moberly died Monday evening February 9, 2015 at Moberly Nursing and Rehab surrounded by his family and a close family friend. Carl was born January 6, 1913 to Henry Eisenhauer and Rosa (Fennel) Eisenhaurer, 519 Barrow St, Moberly. He married Christine Isbeque on December 24, 1950; their marriage was blessed with three children. Carl was a lifelong and faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church where he served as Sunday School Teacher, Treasurer, Vice President and President. He also loved his hometown, Moberly where he served two terms on the City Council, Treasurer for the Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer for American Red Cross, Treasurer for American Cancer Society, Member F.F.A. Board and Member N.E.C.A.C. Board. Carl served our country honorably as a member of the U.S. Army during World War II, he landed at Omaha Beach on D-Day + 2 . At discharge, December 17, 1945 he held the rank of Master Sergeant. He worked at Mechanics Bank/Commerce Bank from 1931 until 1978 when he retired as Senior Executive Vice President. He remained active as Director on the Board of Directors through 1983. Carl was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Gretchen; his brother, William; and his wife, Christine. He is survived by his children; Son, Carl Jr. and wife Carol of Chesterfield, MO; daughters: Anna Margaret Ferguson and husband Jim of Springfield, MO, and Patricia Ann Smith and husband Carey of Columbia; grandchildren: Jacob (Sarah), Adrienne, Carlee (Miles), Tanner, and Allie; great-grandchildren: John, Carson, and Beckham; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church with Reverend Ken Schurb officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church or the Randolph County Historical Society.
