Carole Anne Ellis

Carole Ann Ellis, 64 of Columbia, MO passed away on September 29th at Boone Hospital Center. She was born on September 30, 1946 in Moberly, MO and grew up in Monroe City, MO with her parents Marion and Martha Sue (Hackett) Clawson. Carole lived in Columbia for 38 years. She worked and retired from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Carole is survived by two sons and one sister. Michael Ellis and his wife Cheryl and children Nicholas, Kara and Melissa live in O’ Fallon, MO. Her second son Jeremy Ellis and wife Tessa and children Carsyn and Kellen live in Tipton, MO. Her sister Nancy and Rudy Meyer live in Moberly. She is also a beloved aunt, loving cousin and dear friend to many. Carole was preceded in death by her parents. Arrangements have been made through Million-Taylor Funeral Home at 320 S Williams in Moberly. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 pm on Sunday, October 2nd at the funeral home. The funeral will be held at 10 am on Monday, October 3rd at the funeral home and internment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Moberly following the service.
