Catherine Williams

Catherine Williams, 89 of Moberly, Mo passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the University Hospital in Columbia. Catherine was born to the late Joseph Bunton and Sophia Ellen Rose Bunton on February 19, 1923 in Macon, Missouri. She attended nursing school and worked for the Woodland Hospital in the operating room. She was a wonderful, caring nurse who was dedicated to her profession. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lindol Beard; second husband, Bruce Williams; sisters: Ethel and Margaret and sister-in-law Betty McCune. Catherine is survived by her daughter, Linda Thomas and husband Tim of Humble, TX; brother, Albert McCune of Columbia, MO; grandchildren, Michele Thomas and Todd Thomas of TX. A private graveside service will be held in Oakland Cemetery in Moberly, MO Arrangements are under the direction of Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks memorials be made to donor’s favorite charity.
