Cecil Kay Bales

Cecil Kay Bales, 70, of Bellevue, NE, passed away on October 21, 2023, in Moberly, MO after a short battle with cancer. He was born on November 14, 1952, in Brookfield, MO and grew up in Moberly, MO.

Cecil graduated from Moberly High School and later pursued higher education at Columbia College. He had a successful career working for Banquet/Conagra Foods for over 35 years.

Cecil was active with the Moberly Jaycees for several years. He enjoyed biking the MKT Trail and traveling. He found joy in exploring new places and experiencing different cultures.

Cecil is survived by his brothers, James Bales of Canton, GA and Lyle and Katy Bales of Moberly, MO, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Catherine Bales, his brother Dan Bales, and his sister Carolyn Fischer.

At his request, there will be no services or celebration of life held for Cecil. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
