Ethel “Charlene” Luntsford, 82, of Cairo, MO passed away June 27, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.
Charlene was born December 9, 1938 in Kansas City, MO to John M. Bratcher and Gladys Kite/Berry.
She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Ash, MO. Charlene was a fantastic homemaker and a fun-loving woman who liked to joke. She enjoyed bowling and gardening, crocheting and collecting cookie jars. She liked to watch Judge Judy and play games with her family and friends. She was an excellent cook and a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family to the moon and back!
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents John Bratcher and Gladys Kite/Berry; two sisters; Jane Robinson and Jeanette Starks; daughter Teresa Nadine LeMaster/Grimsley; son Joseph LeMaster; stepsons Bobby Luntsford and Bobby LeMaster.
She is survived by her husband Paul of Cairo; sisters, Kelly Carney, Grandview, MO, Joan King, Kansas City, KS, and Marie Scott, Oskaloosa, IA; son, Doug and wife Direce LeMaster Excello, MO; daughter, Leann Mitchell, Watts. OK; step-sons, Clark Luntsford, Centralia, MO and Jerry LeMaster, Cordova, AK; grandson, Chris Grimsley, Boulder, CO; daughter-in-law, Paula Luntsford, Madison, MO; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; extended family and friends and her beloved little dog Cricket.
Services celebrating Charlene's life will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
