Charles 'Bill' William Hatter Jr.

Charles (Bill) William Hatter Jr, age 80, of Macon, MO, went home to the Lord, on June 13, 2023, at North Village Park.

Bill was born on November 17, 1942, to Charles William and Dessie Darlene (Everhart) Hatter.

Bill graduated from Mountain View High School in 1962 and while attending school he was working on the family farm.

Bill enlisted with the Air Force in 1962, was deployed to France until 1966. Bill’s first job was with his brother in Kansas harvesting wheat. He then became a truck driver and traveled all over the world.

Bill enjoyed playing cards, Monopoly, raising rabbits, watching movies, working on cars and trucks, listening to music, and singing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dessie Hatter; grandparents and Aunt Elnora Long.

Bill is survived by his two daughters, Tiffany, and Annette; three sons, Scott, Tony, and Billy Wayne; four siblings, Charlene, Bob, Richard, and CJ; several grandchildren, extended family, and close friends.

A funeral service celebrating Bill’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Pathway-Mallard Family Funeral Chapel, Moberly, MO, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by military honors and interment at Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery, Jacksonville, MO at 1:00 p.m.
