Charles Jason Sharp, age 52, of Renick, MO, passed away surrounded by family and friends after a short illness on October 20, 2024, at home.
Charlie was born on August 6, 1972, in Clark, MO, to Elbert Duane Sharp and Ellen Virginia (Drew). He graduated from Sturgeon High School. In 2008, he moved to Creston, IA, and accepted a position as a Service Writer at Sapp Brothers where he worked for more than 15 years.
Charlie was kindhearted and a great family man and friend. He married Helen (Lawrence) on September 16, 2017, in Hamburg, IA. Charlie was a socially active man who was deeply involved as a Volunteer Fire Fighter most of his life.
He enjoyed fishing, working on cars or anything with a motor, woodworking, spending time with nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, target shooting, and road tripping with Helen. His family and friends will always remember him as a kindhearted, dedicated family member, and prankster.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brother-in-law Gary Adams; one nephew; two great nephews; and several aunts and uncles.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Helen, of Renick, MO; sister, Malinda Adams, of Moberly, MO; brother, Wesley Sharp (Shelly), of Clark, MO; sister, Jewell (Mark) Mathis, of Cairo, MO; brother Warren (Natalie) Sharp, of Clark, MO; sister-in-laws, Angie (Jimmy) Heming, of Lake of the Ozarks, Lisa and Becky Lawrence of Moberly, MO; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and several friends.
A Celebration of Life for Charlie will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Clark Baptist Church basement, Clark, MO, from 11 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. This will be a carry-in.
