Charlie I. Hayes

Charlie I. Hayes 81 of Higbee passed away July 2, 2012 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. He was born July 1, 1931 in Versailles, MO to Sine and Minnie (Cleveland) Hayes. Mr. Hayes worked as a truck driver before retiring. He enjoyed playing golf and baseball. He is survived by three sons David Hayes of Higbee, Patrick and Ann Hayes of Webster Groves, MO and Michael and Lisa Hayes of Olathe, KS; two daughters Lori and Stephen Komon of Golden, CO and Leslie Holway of Olathe, KS; brother Dub and Maggie Hayes of Higbee and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Services will be Saturday July 7, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the Million-Taylor Funeral Home in Moberly. Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 9-10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Special Olympics of Missouri.
