Charlotte L. Green

Charlotte L. Schartz Green, 79, of Clark passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Boone Hospital in Columbia. Charlotte was born to the late Richard and Opal Ross on December 16, 1934 in Grand Island, NE. She worked for Ferrell Gas in Moberly for many years in their office. She and Joe Green celebrated many years together and were married for 5 of those years. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Thompson; grandson, Eddie Morearty; previous husband, Ray Schartz; and step daughter, Joni Sue Green. Charlotte is survived by her loving husband, Joe Green; sons: Steve Thompson and wife Ruth Dingwell-Thompson of Oneill, NE, and Kim Green and wife Susan of Richamond, VA; daughters: Linda L. Morearty and husband Edward of Santa Maria, CA, Carolyn Christenson of San Diego, CA, and Kimberly C. Milinae of Omaha, NE; grandchildren: Ryan Thompson, Jacob Thompson, Jacquelyn Thompson, David Morearty, and Patrick Morearty; great grandchildren, Bianca Thompson, Brandon, Erin, Hayden, Ben, and Savanna Morearty, Hannah, Sara, and Clare Christenson; brother Walter Ross and wife Rhonda of Grand Island, NE; sister, Susan Rasmussen and husband Paul of WI. Visitation for Charlotte will take place on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 5:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 1:00 p.m in the chapel of Million Taylor Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Moberly.
