Chester Edward Rogers, 84, of Moberly passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Moberly Nursing and Rehab. Chester was born to the late Henry and Elma (Halterman) Rogers on November 14, 1928 in Rural Randolph County, MO. He served in the United States Army and worked for Toastmaster in Moberly for over 30 years before retiring. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters: Rita Fifer and Juanelle Edwards; 2 nephews and 2 nieces. Chester is survived by his sister, Eloise Keller and husband Robert of Moberly; brother, Willliam “Bill” Henry Rogers, Jr. of Moberly; nephews: Kirk Keller and wife Kim of Columbia, and Roger Keller of Fort Madison, Iowa; nieces: Sue Hackett of Moberly, Karen Edwards of Kansas, Susan Edwards of Sedalia, and Anita McAllister and husband Gary of Jacksonville. A graveside service for Chester will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m at Memorial Park Cemetery in Moberly under the direction of Million Taylor Funeral Homes.
