Cheyenna Ames

Cheyenna Lynn Ames, 17, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Cheyenna was born on May 1, 1997, in Moberly, MO. She is survived by her parents, Randy Ames and Lynna Relford; siblings, Ryan Zinkle, Taleana Ames, Nathan Ames, Katy Walker, Matthew Walker, and Adealyn Ames; her grandparents, Jack and Margie Kennedy, John and Wanda Relford, and Julie Relford; countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, caregivers, and her beloved dog, Dodger. Cheyenna was preceded in death by her grandfather, Floyd Ames; aunt, Deni Ames; and cousins, Nicole & Matthew Love and John David Smith. Cheyenna was a junior at Moberly Senior High School and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was passionate about life and was an advocate for many causes especially Cystic Fibrosis awareness and animal advocacy. She was a great fan of Taylor Swift and of everything about the St. Louis Cardinals. Visitation will be Monday, February 23, 2015, 4:00-5:00 p.m. for family and 5:00-7:00 p.m. for the public. Services will be Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home, with graveside services following at Hagar Cemetery (County Road 2220, Moberly).
