Cindy Lou Scott

Cindy Lou Scott, 58, of Columbia, Missouri, returned to her heavenly home on March 18, 2024, at Columbia Manor, Columbia, Missouri.

Cindy was born February 13, 1966, in Fredericktown, Missouri, to Anita (Ammon) Flood and stepfather, Herman Flood.

Cindy endured profound disabilities throughout most of her life. Despite this, she was a source of inspiration and joy for her family and caretakers. Her family wishes to express a deep appreciation for the loving care she received during her later years by the staff of Missouri Mentor in Columbia. She will be deeply missed by her family and caretakers.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Anita Flood; stepfather, Herman Flood and grandparents.

Cindy is survived by her brother, Rick (Susan) Scott of Groveland, IL; sister, Tara (Jason) Smith of Baytown, TX; aunt, Donna Firebaugh of Fredericktown, MO; nieces and cousins.

A graveside service celebrating Cindy’s life has been scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Oakland Cemetery, Moberly, MO, where she will be laid to rest beside her mother and stepfather.
