Cleo Marcella Venable

Cleo Marcella Venable, 92, of Moberly, Missouri went to her home with the Lord on July 28, 2022 at the University Of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Cleo was born in November 22, 1929 in Franklin, Missouri to Marcellus and Irene (Ward) Wilborn. She was a nurse for more than thirty years working for Dr. Hobbs.

She really enjoyed crafting and ceramics. Her family and friends will always remember her for her flair of clothing, cooking and baking.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcellus and Irene Wilborn; husband, Billy Venable; brothers, Tom, Bob and Richard Wilborn; sisters, Virginia Huffman, Katie Pogue-Harvey and Judy Little.

Cleo is survived by her son, Jerry (Jan) Brooks of Moberly; grandchildren, Justin (Michelle) Brooks of Rockmart, GA, Melissa (Kris) Janson of Moberly, MO, Melinda (Charlie) Reed of Cairo, MO; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister Patricia Ballew of Columbia, MO; many nieces and nephews.

Per Cleo’s request, a private graveside service will be held on Saturday,
August 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Clark Chapel Cemetery in Fayette, Missouri.
