Clifford Lonzo Hughes, 69, Moberly, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at his home. Clifford was born September 13, 1946, in Huntsville, MO, then moved to Paris, Mo where he also attended school. He was the son of Marvin Lonzo Hughes and Mildred Loretta Davidson. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda.
He worked for Norfolk and Southern Railroad as a machine shop supervisor for 37 years. He loved working on vehicles, deer hunting, cooking and instructing on how to cook.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Deloris Summers, Nina Owens, Shirley Nichols and Phyllis Ann Hughes; and a niece, Debra Sumpter.
He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Hughes of Moberly; one sister, Mary Nichols of Higbee; nieces, nephews, and a great aunt.
Services for Clifford will be Monday, April 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery.
