Connie Jeanette Ames

Connie Jeanette Ames 60 of Moberly passed away October 16, 2010 at Moberly Nursing & Rehab. She was born April 10, 1950 in Moberly to Ernest and Mary Elizabeth (Sanifer) Gillispie Jr. Connie worked as a dietician for UMC Medical before retiring. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. On June 21, 1969 in Moberly she married Darold Ames and he survives of the home. She is also survived by her father Ernest Gillispie Jr. of Moberly; four sons Phillip Daryl and Rhiannon Ames of Moberly, Dustin and Angela Ames of Huntsville, Patrick Ames of the state of Oklahoma and David L. Ames of Moberly; four daughters Jeanette and Leslie Payne of Tipton, Tammy Ames of Fayette, Mammie Robertson of Higbee and Carrie Harvison; two brothers John Gillispie of Moberly and Donald and Diane Gillispie of Higbee; two step-brothers Johnny Morgan of Clark and Rusty Morgan of Higbee; sister-in-law Polly Gillispie of Moberly; twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, one brother, two sisters and one step-brother. Services will be Saturday October 23, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev.
