Connie Jean Edwards

Connie Jean Edwards, 78, of Moberly, MO, passed away peacefully at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

Connie was born on November 17, 1945, in Long Beach, CA, to William and Helen Farrier. On February 14, 1964, Connie married the love of her life, William (Bill) Edwards. They went on to have four daughters while moving to Missouri in 1968.

She was known for loving everyone she met and making them feel like family. She always saw the good in people and always welcomed them with open arms. She was not only loved by her family, but also by so many that she has touched during her lifetime.

Connie enjoyed crocheting, reading, doing word searches, and sharing snacks with Sophie the family dog. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and especially her great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen Farrier; her husband, William (Bill) Edwards; a grandson, Josh Ellington; and two great-grand daughters, Londyn Danielle and Gemma Edwards.

Connie is survived by four daughters, Kimberly Ellington of Fayetteville, NC, Cara (Terry) Ellington of Moberly, MO, Irene (Ken) Roberts of Centralia, MO and Shauna Edwards (Chris Dysart) of Winter Haven, FL; a bonus daughter, Robin Ellington of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Tracy Ellington of NC, Ashley Ellington, Alicia Ellington, Rebekah Edwards, Katlyn Edwards, and Emalee (Blue) Willits, all of MO, Jaelen Graves and Tyshaun Graves of FL, Nathan (Vee) Seiger of OK; along with several great grandchildren.

A service celebrating Connie's life has been scheduled for Monday, November 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly, MO.  Visitation will be held before the service from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
