Daniel Hanrahan

Daniel John Hanrahan, 77, of Cairo, passed away at his home June 6, 2015. Daniel was born November 20, 1937 in Ford Dodge, Iowa to Roger Francis Hanrahan and Dorothy Berniece Christy Hanrahan. On October 6, 1956, he married Kay Auther in Indianapolis, IN and she survives of the home. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1959. Daniel worked as a district manager for both Woolworth and Ingram Entertainment. He loved working in his yard and playing golf. His dog Coco was his favorite friend. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter-in-law, Rhonda Hanrahan. In addition to his wife Kay, he is survived by a brother, Robert Hanrahan (Carolina) of Jacksonville, Florida; children, Daniel Hanrahan Jr. (Carol) of Flowermound, TX, Michael Hanrahan (Sherri) of Sewell, New Jersey; Stephen Hanrahan of Des Moines, IA, Kathy Gathercole (Richard Palmer) of Sturgeon, MO, Scott Hanrahan of Des Moines, IA and Richard Hanrahan of Cairo, MO; twelve grandchildren and twelve great- grandchildren.
