Danny Bailey

Danny Clinton Bailey, 68, of Moberly, passed away December 19, 2015 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. Danny was born in Moberly to Walter Bailey and Freda Harrison Bailey on the 28th day of September, 1947. Danny enjoyed working at the Sheltered Workshop for several years before moving to the Wildwood Nursing Home in Madison, MO. He loved all things beautiful, but his source of profound joy was his church, Carpenter Street Baptist. The members loved Danny and he loved them. He was very much “at home” at Wildwood Nursing Home where the staff treated him with exceptional care and kindness. Danny was preceded in death by his parents; brother Tommy Bailey and sister Nancy Bailey. He is survived by several cousins and many friends. Danny was blessed to have his cousin Ginger Jones as his caretaker and guardian after the death of his parents. Services for Danny will be at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. followed by inurnment in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until time of service. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Carpenter Street Baptist Church, 501 East Carpenter Street, Moberly, MO 65270.
