David Howard Churchill

David Howard Churchill of Moberly, MO as of February 2, 2022 is resting in peace in the Lord.

David was born on August 31, 1943, to Paul and Lois Churchill. He graduated from Tri-City High School. He worked as a farmer and truck driver for many years. He was a friend of the Moberly Seventh Day Adventist.

David married Martha Dutch on July 23, 1967, in Riverton, Illinois. David loved his family and being around his church family. He was very independent and loved touring the countryside. His family and friends will always remember him for his soft heart full of generosity and how he enjoyed sharing stories and it made you feel like you were present in that exact moment.

He is preceded in death by his dear wife Martha, parents Paul and Lois Churchill and brother Jim Churchill.

David is survived by his son Mark (Brenda) Churchill and daughter Sarah (Bob) Hardy; Mark’s 8 children and 7 grandchildren; Sarah’s children Jamie Hardy, Nicole (Brett) Soendker, Hannah Hardy and Hailey Hardy; Sarah’s grandchildren Karlye Hardy, Kehlan Hardy, Nolan Hardy, Layton Hardy, Brody Soendker, Chase Soendker and Peyton Soendker.

A memorial service has been scheduled for Wednesday, February 23, 2022 starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Moberly Seventh-Day Adventist Church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Maranatha Adventist School, 1400 E. McKinsey Street Moberly, MO 65270 or Unfinished Pieces, P.O. Box 794 Moberly, MO 65270.
