Deborah "Debbie" Fitzpatrick

Deborah Ann Fitzpatrick, of Moberly, was born to Lee Roy and Nelda Leiker on September 15, 1958, and gained her angel wings on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

On May 14, 1983, Debbie married the love of her life, Charles Fitzpatrick, who preceded her in death on July 3, 2003.

Debbie was a lifelong employee at the Moberly Monitor Index. She was a long time and devoted member of the Logan Street Church of Christ. Debbie loved life, family and people—she never met a stranger. She enjoyed monthly meals and fellowship with the “lunch bunch”.

Debbie is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fitzpatrick; her parents Lee Roy and Nelda Leiker; her grandparents, Gordon and Mary Shearer, and Raymond and Mathilda Leiker; an infant brother, Gordon Leiker; sisters-in-law, Penny Pool and Marsha Pool; and brother-in-law, Samuel Pool. 

She is survived by her sisters Sherrie (Nathan) Wisdom, Linda Kessler, Shelly (Kevin) Lovelace, and Vickie Leiker; her mother and father-in-law Jerry and Neva Owen; nephews Lonnie Kessler (Kimberly Ruiz), Zachary (Kate) Wisdom, William Crabtree (Juanita Dartt), and Jude Pool; niece Natalie Wisdom (Kent Lewis); and numerous cousins and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Logan Street Church of Christ in Moberly with a fellowship meal to follow. Flowers or cards may be sent to the church the morning of the service.

Debbie will be deeply missed by her sisters and all who knew her.
