Dennis Keith Musick, 55, of Moberly, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 10, 2018 at his home.
Dennis was born March 9, 1963 in Mexico, MO to James Musick and Janice Bennett Musick. He graduated from Moberly High School and MACC, and completed his education in 1985 at Truman State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice.
After college, Dennis lived in Fulton for twenty years where he worked at the Department of Corrections. He returned to Moberly 15 years ago and continued working for the Department of Corrections as a parole officer until his retirement on September 1, 2018
Dennis was a member of the Central Christian Disciples of Christ Church in Moberly. He played tennis in high school as well as college. Later in life, Dennis enjoyed playing golf. He was a hard-core Cardinals fan and he loved music, attending many concerts with his friends through the years. Dennis had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor. He was extremely loyal to his friends, and anyone who was lucky enough to be his friend was his friend for life.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Jim Musick; maternal grandparents, Tormy and Vida Rippel and paternal grandparents, Bernice and James O. Musick.
He is survived by his mother, Janice Musick of Moberly; sister, Dana (Brian) McCune of Higbee, MO; uncle, Gary Rippel of Salisbury; nieces, nephews, numerous cousins and many good friends.
A memorial service for Dennis will be held Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
