Deva Dawn Reed Ponder, 37, of Moberly, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Deva was born January 19, 1978 to Randy W. Reed and Dena R. Simpson Reed. She attended Renick Schools and was a graduate of Moberly High School. Deva was a big Betty Boop fan. She liked all animals, especially her two box turtles. She enjoyed being outdoors and loved spending as much time as possible with her children.
Those preceding Deva in death are grandparents; Dewane Simpson, Glenn and Edna Parks and her uncle Darrell Simpson.
Survivors include her parents, Dena R. Reed, of Moberly and Randy W. and Cleta Reed of Huntsville; her children, Jake Burriss of Huntsville and Brianna and Seleena Ponder of Salisbury; her brother, Devin Reed of Moberly; step brothers, Mike and Shane Herrin of Moberly and Chris Herrin of San Antonio, TX; grandmothers, Wilma Simpson of Centralia and Margaret Simpson of Huntsville as well as extended family and close friends.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Deva’s life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly, MO.
