Donald Biere, 82, of Moberly passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. Donald was born to Louis and Nora (Koseck) Biere on March 25, 1933 in Bland, Missouri. During his life, Donald served in the United States Airforce as a helicopter mechanic, an over the road truck driver, and later retired as a farmer. On November 22, 1994 he and Mary Yoder were married. He was a man of few words who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and "man's best friends", B.J and Buddy boy. Donald was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Alson Biere: and step-son, John Dent. Survivors include his wife, Mary Biere of Moberly; sons: Duane Biere and Marie Morris of Renick, Kevan Biere of the Kansas City area; step-children: David Dent of Renick, Evelyn Biere and Mike Boerger of Huntsville; brother, Clarence Biere and wife Shirley; sister, Donnie Barnes; grandchildren: Eric Biere and wife Denise, Stephanie Hatfield, Amanda Goodall and husband Ryan, Isaac Biere, and Brianna Lingo; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Million Taylor Funeral Homes with Pastor Vic Comstock officiating. Burial will follow at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
