Donald Lee Robb, 81, born June 11, 1931 peacefully went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, May 10, 2013 at his residence at Ashley Manor in Boonville, MO. Throughout his life time he embarked upon many business ventures, being the “great salesman” he was. Many will remember him at the car auctions. He successfully owned and operated J.D Auto Sales for over 25 years. His true passion was talking and selling cars till the day he could no longer do so. He attended Bible Baptist Church in New Franklin. He loved the Lord and his family. He was a people person with a tender heart. He was a giving man who enjoyed helping others. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola Mae Robb, in 2011; his parents, Dan and Mary Ellen Robb; 2 sisters: Betty Bugg and Dorothy Whitaker; brother-in-law, Ray Bugg; half-brother, John Robb; 2 half-sisters: Mary Helen Colley and Anna Ruth Maloney. He is survived by 2 daughters: Carolyn and Eddie Wear of Liberty, MO, and Linda and John Thompson of Moberly; an adopted son, Martin Robb of Fulton; and one step-son, Wayne Howery of Boonville; 4 granddaughters: Amanda Wear, Mary and Chad Summa, Sarah Thomspon, and Noelle and Jeremiah Terrell; 3 step-grandchildren: Amanda, Justin, and Christopher; 3 great-grandsons: Haven and Jasper Terrell and Wilder Summa; other relatives, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 1:00 p.m until service time at 2:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Higbee with Brother Rodney Haggett officiating. Burial will follow at the Higbee City Cemetery under the direction of Million Taylor Funeral Homes. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s disease Foundation.
