Donna F. Ward

Donna Fern Ward, 66, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Donna was born to Charles and Kathleen (Sears) Fainter on February 21, 1950 in Boonville, Missouri. She and Ronald Lee Ward were married in October of 1967 and were married for 33 years before he preceded her in death. Donna worked for the old Regional Hospital in Columbia. She loved being a grandmother and spent her time taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald; brother, Elmo Fainter; and a grandson, Gregory Ward. Survivors include sons: Derek (Becky) Ward of Columbia, Missouri, and Jeffery (Jennifer) Ward of Higbee, Missouri; daughter, Cindy Phillipe of Columbia, Missouri; brothers: Russell Fainter of Bevier, Missouri, and Richard Fainter of Connecticut; sisters: Joetha Adkins of Conway, Missouri, Rebecca Ragel of Hamilton, Missouri, Debbie Gravitt and Louise Durbin both of Moberly, Missouri; grandchildren: Candice Ward, Derek Ward, Christopher Ward, Krista Ward, Ashley Gravitt, and Jacob Gravitt; great-grandchildren: Syluse Taylor, Leasia Taylor, Madison Taylor, Calyn Martin, Kadrianna Ward, and Jaden Ward. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Fuemmeler officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Moberly, Missouri.
