Doris Lyons

Doris A. Lyons, 86, of Moberly went to be with her heavenly Father on Sunday, May 8, 2016. She was an inspiration and joy to everyone who knew her. She was a member of the Cairo Christian Church. Doris retired from Moberly Correctional Center. Those preceding her in death are her parents, her beloved husband, Chester Lyons, her sister, Catherine Fouts and great grandson, Bryan Johnson. She is survived by her two children, Tony Lyons and wife Rita, and Linda Hawk and husband Gary; four grandchildren, Tammy (Greg) Johnson, Jay Lyons, Rusti Lyons and Tonia Stava; seven great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, one niece, Marvyda (Junior) Wear and many friends. A memorial visitation celebrating Doris’ life will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home.
