Dorothy Ann Evans

Dorothy Ann Evans, 83, of Moberly passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Moberly Regional Medical Center. Dorothy was born to Samuel and Katie (Taylor) Tilton on October 9, 1930 in Quincy, Illinois. She married Eugene W. Evans on June 4, 1950 in Golden, Illinois and were married for 62 years before he preceded her in death on August 10, 2012. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her parents; and two sons: Allen and Curt Evans. She is survived by sons: Rex Evans and wife Cindy of Chatham, IL, and Leslie Evans of New Baden, IL; daughters: Sharon Whisenand and husband Dan of Higbee, MO, and Jeanna Miller and husband Gary of Norman, OK; 5 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 1:00 p.m until service time at 2:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Burial will follow at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Clinton Manor~111 E.
