Dorothy Jane (Robinett) Wilson, 83, of Madison, Missouri passed away on September 27, 2013 at the Golden Living Center, Mexico, MO. She enjoyed flowers, listening to Bluegrass music, playing cards, and going to garage sales. Dorothy especially loved weekends at her nephew, Carl’s home where she looked forward to deer and mushroom hunting, taking jeep rides, and spending time with family. She worked at Flexcon in Moberly and several nursing homes in the area. Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Madison. Dorothy was born in Henley, Missouri on April 30, 1930 to Hobart M. and Erea (Vera) Robinett. On December 6, 1948, she wed Jesse (Pat) Wilson. They were married for over 50 years. She was blessed with one son, Roger W. Wilson. She was preceded in death by her son in 1996 and husband in 2003 as well as her parents, two sisters and one brother. Dorothy is survived by three brothers: Hobart Robinett, Jr. of Mesquite, Texas, Arthur Robinett of Santa Fe, Missouri, and Charles Robinett of Mexico, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Joyce Wilson of Madison, Missouri and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 10:00 a.m until service time at 11:00 a.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly with Brad Fuemmeler officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Madison, Missouri under the direction of Million Taylor Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Down Syndrome Guild of Great Kansas City or charity of donor’s choice.
