Dorthy Catherine Wright

Dorthy Catherine Wright, 87 of Moberly passed away Monday, March 4 2013 at the Moberly Regional Medical Center. Dorthy was the widow of the late Leland Lavern Wright and daughter of Frank and Genevieva Heddinghaus. She was a bookkeeper and clerk for Heddinghaus Hardware store,and cost accountant for Square D. Corp in Los Angeles, CA. She worked as a LPN as unit secretary for Community Hospital and Moberly Regional Medical Center for 20 years. Dorthy is survived by three sons: Edward Lawrence and Wendy of Colorado; Carlos and Jackie of Moberly; and Frank and Linda of Texas; four grandsons: Jason of Texas, Michael Coleman, Eric and Christopher of Moberly; five granddaughters: Kimberly of Columbia; Josefine of Center; Deanna of Columbia; Catherin of Colorado; and Emily of Moberly; great grandchildren, including Edward Avery Fogle, Poleman, Dalton, and Daris; great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two sisters; Alice Basnett and Ruth Schumann; one brother, Ralph Heddinghaus; infant son, Dorsey Ralph and son, William. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes in Moberly from 4:00 p.m until 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 10:00 A.M at the St. Pius X Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Moberly.
