Dustin Andrew Roberts, 35, of Moberly, Missouri, unexpectedly passed away on October 29, 2021, at his home.
Dustin was born on September 28, 1986 in Columbia, MO, to Duane Roberts and Melissa (Clements) Palmatory.
He graduated from Moberly High School and attended Moberly Area Community College and Columbia College.
He honorably served his country in the United States Army from 2006 until 2009 as an Artillery Specialist. Dustin served in Kosovo in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, OEF 08 09.
He was a member of the Carpenter Street Baptist church. Dustin was also a member of Team Red White and Blue (RWB) with the veterans program.
Dustin enjoyed writing poetry, singing karaoke, fishing, online gaming with his brother and friends, and biking.
Dustin had a great sense of humor, was full of energy, enjoyed cooking for his family, and especially enjoyed spending time with his son Skylar.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donal Ehrhardt; grandmother, Barbara Fisher; great-grandparents, Robert and Kathrine McCowan, Byron and Elfa Clements, James and Lanelta Roberts, Irene Ehrhardt.
Dustin is survived by his parents, Duane Roberts of Macon, MO, Melissa and husband Kevin Palmatory of Moberly, MO; son, Skylar Roberts of Moberly, MO; sister, Bethany Roberts of Moberly, MO; Two brothers Sean Palmatory and Michael Palmatory both of Moberly, MO; Grandmother, Virginia Ehrhardt of Moberly, MO; Grandfather, Byron Clements of Macon, GA; Uncle, Robert and wife Tammy Clements of Kennett Square, PA; Nephew, Conner Palmatory of Moberly, MO; numerous cousins, extended family members, and very best friend Jacob Evans of Hallsville, MO; many other close friends such as Linda Marcusson of Sweden, Annette Jetting of Denmark, Renee Sinclair of Macon, MO, Jerica Roberts of Moberly, MO.
A funeral service celebrating Dustin’s life will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly, MO. Interment with full military honors will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
