Edna F. Johnson

Edna F. Johnson, 72, of Moberly passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at her home with her family by her side. Edna was born to George Martin and Edna Faye (Hess) Gravitt on March 24, 1944 in Moberly Missouri. On December 23, 1965 she and Billy Ray Johnson were married. During her working career, she worked for the Maid Rite in Moberly as a Manager. She was a true care taker, she was always taking care of others. She loved her family, never met a stranger, and could always make others laugh. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Ray Johnson; brothers: Billy and Frank Gravitt; and sister, Rose Canaday. Survivors include; sons: Robert James Johnson, and Glendale M. Johnson; daughter, Edenia Wisdom; brother, Henry (Elizabeth) Gravitt; sisters: Lavella (Laurence) Walters, and Hazel Thorp all of Moberly; grandchildren: April Johnson, Erica Johnson, Deanna Taylor, Audrea Peeper, Alexander Wisdom, and Glendale Phillip Johnson; 7 great grandsons; and 3 great granddaughters. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly.
