Edsel K. Kinney, Jr.

Edsel Keith Kinney, Jr., age 74, of Moberly, MO passed away December 19, 2022, at Aspire Senior Living.

Edsel was born on May 17, 1948, in Twin Falls, ID, to Edsel K. and Juanita (Secord) Kinney. He graduated from Twin Falls High School. Edsel served his country in the United States Army for ten years as an E-5 Sergeant. Edsel married Kum Nan Hu in Seoul Korea in October 1974.

Edsel enjoyed SciFi and was an avid typist. His family and friends will always remember him as a prankster and a happy-go-lucky guy.

Edsel is preceded in death by his bother Richard D. Kinney, and parents, Edsel Kinney, Sr. and Juanita Secord.

He is survived by his son, James Kinney, of Moberly, MO; sisters, Joyce Kelsey, Moberly, MO and Margie Kinney, Portland, OR; nephews, David D. Kelsey and Matthew A. Kelsey, Moberly, MO, Anthony and Justin Kinney, Green City, MO; niece, Jeanie Kinney, Green City, MO; extended family and many close friends.

A burial at Missouri State Cemetery at Jacksonville, MO is planned for a later date.
