Elsie Lorna Walch

Elsie "Lorna" Walch, 88, of Moberly passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 at North Village Park in Moberly. Lorna was born to Thomas and Francis (Chandler) Grundy in Caernarvon, Wales on January 15, 1926. She was a Welsh rose, proud Veteran of WWII in the British Navy, devoted mother, grandmother and loving wife of 36 years to Larry. She will remain forever young in our hearts. Lorna is survived by her husband, Larry Walch of Mobery; daughters: Pamela Bakke and husband Noyes of Overland Park, KS, Daphne Russell and husband Jim of Behlen, NM, Sheilagh Romero and husband Mike of Seattle, WA, and Christina Sue Cruse of Muscatine, IA; sister, Peggy Giencke and husband Jack of Montello, WI; grandchildren: Jonathan Walch, Rusty Strunk, Paige L. Bakke, Allie C. Bakke, Cody Russell, and Shannon Russell; great grandchildren: Braden Walch and Sully Walch. A graveside service will take place on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Akers Chapel Cemetery in Hull, Illinois at 1:00 p.m under the direction of Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly.
