Ernest Esry

Allen Esry, 68, of Moberly, passed away May 20, 2016 at his home. Allen was born February 27, 1948 in Moberly, MO to Ernest Allen Esry Sr. and Belva Frances DeRigne. On September 10, 1965 he married Marilyn Switzer in Moberly and she survives of the home. Allen was a heavy equipment operator, farmer, and raised livestock most of his life. He was a lifetime resident of the Moberly area. He also enjoyed riding horses and coon hunting. Those preceding Allen in death are his parents; daughter Stacey Esry; and a great-grandson, Lucas Gabriel Hake. In addition to his wife Marilyn, he is survived by his sister Marilyn Calvert of Keytesville; children Robin (Garland) Fletcher of Huntsville, David and Daniel Esry, both of Moberly; grandchildren, Jeffery (Lindsay) Fletcher of Columbia, Zachary Fletcher of Huntsville, Josi (Austin) Hake of Excelsior Springs, Christopher Esry of Kansas City, and Ethan Esry of Moberly, MO, extended family and friends. Services for Allen will be Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly followed by interment in Sugar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
