Eugene W. Evans

Eugene W. Evans, 84 of Moberly, Mo., passed away Friday August 10, 2012 at Moberly Nursing and Rehab in Moberly. He was born August 4, 1928 to Harry and Fannie Taylor Evans at Mendon, Il. He married Dorothy Ann Tilton June 4, 1950 at Mendon, Il., and she survives. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the V.F.W. in Moberly. He was a truck driver most of his working life. He is also survived by two daughters, Sharon and Dan Whisenand of Higbee, Mo., Jeanna and Gary Miller of Norman, Ok., and two sons, Rex and Cindy Evans of Chatham, Il., Leslie Evans of Illinois, two brothers, Harold and Pat Evans of Mesa, Az., Bill and Ruth Evans of Mendon, Il., and four sisters, Lois Williams of Odenton, Md., Lucille Tallcott of Medesto, Ca., Delores and Bill Duncan of Flower, Il., and Nancy and Bill Gillenwater of Bloomington, In., and seven grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents, two sons and one sister. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 Noon Tuesday August 14, 2012 at the Million-Taylor Funeral Home in Moberly and Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
