Evelyn Fay Baker

Evelyn Fay Baker, 92, of Higbee passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017, at Moberly Nursing and Rehab. Fay was born August 5, 1925 to Arthur and Ola (Bartee) Bradley in Higbee, Missouri. She and Marshall Baker were married on June 15, 1940, and were married for 61 years before he preceded her in death. Fay loved to garden and being outdoors, she enjoyed watching the birds and had at least 50 hummingbirds at her house. Her favorite pastime was spoiling her grandkids. She was also preceded in death by her sisters: Lillian, Alma, and Genell; and brother, Eldon. Survivors include her son, Jim Baker and wife Dru of Louisburg, Missouri; daughter, Carolyn Sundermeyer and husband Carl of Holts Summit, Missouri; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, N. Morley Street (Next to 3000 N. Morley..B&B Drive in) Moberly, Missouri.
